Of Anticlimaticity

Well. This is not as explosively awesome as I originally imagined it, but hey, looking back on it, it's come pretty far.

Garden Box Central is now open to the public. Despite there not being a lot of agents, there are plenty of development resources to (hopefully) stop that from being the case for too long. It is what you guys make it. Have fun!

Note: If you're getting an SQL error, just wait a bit-- it usually resolves itself. If it continues to be a problem, I'll figure something else out. The world will not end.

  1. This thing is seriously the most fun I've had with Creatures in a while, and I don't even have any creatures in the world yet!

  2. Yay! Can't wait to see what people can achieve with this tool, especially once people start developing for it themselves.

Will put up my own post and help advertise shortly.

  3. YES!!!!! It finally got released!
I hope to make my worlds a better place with this! Hopefully there will be a couple of good agents coming out soon that will extend this.

  4. Hi, I tried to register on the forum but it didn't go through.

What works in DS standalone? (C3 not installed)

  5. I just wanted to thank you for doing this blog. For more than that, really - for helping to breathe new life into the Creatures community.
I've been playing Creatures on and off since the late 90's - since I was a kid - but always been a continuing fan of the series for the chance it gives players to explore computer simulated adaptive learning and genetics. You probably know that most Creatures sites these days are lost in the tomb of Geocities or unrenewed domains. You're one of few, and appreciated for it.
