Furthermore, Yahoo Pipes, which I was using to aggregate the blog feeds, was discontinued, so for now I've reverted the blog list to the old-fashioned name/url listing. At least it's updated and (hopefully) current now.
Anyway, most of my belongings are still in boxes but I've been norn-itching a little and I kind of want to reinstall Creatures to show my roommates, so it's possible I might post more in the future!
I'm also pretty curious as to what's about to be released on Discover Albia tomorrow! Jessica sure knows how to build some suspense. I should probably learn to take a page from her book and keep my projects a secret until they are in some releasable form instead of posting a lot of good intentions that never come to pass.
I miss Creatures and I miss developing, but I really, really don't miss working in CAOS. Guess I'll just see what inspires me as time goes on!

It's wonderful to hear from you, Amai! I can't tell you how many times I've stopped over here hoping to see a new post. The waiting paid off. Ha! We'll see how this suspense-building of mine pays off. Tomorrow is nearly here! Seems like secret projects are nice, although I always enjoy following along with you. I may not understand it all, yet I've learned a lot over the years from just reading about what you're doing. Hopefully you'll revive your computer at some point soon and dive right back into Creatures! Good luck, and I look forward to whatever you post in the future!

I was getting all nostalgic about the Creaturetopia days and the good (and bad, and weird, and downright strange) times that we had while we were mods there. So good to see you're still kicking around out there somewhere!

DeleteI think there's heaps of people still part of the Creatures community thanks to GOG, although most wouldn't be aware of the online Creatures community yet, especially for the older games.
