I think this would make gameplaying more interessting with this!
I do hope you will be able to get some free time and finish this *_*norngirlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-67075928852817814672010-06-23T22:49:13.369-07:002010-06-23T22:49:13.369-07:00I -So- want to see this finished... I have always felt it unnatural that the various races could not breed. I simply don't care for splicing as its just not natural, seeing as the creatures don't have any choice. Having a script like this to use would be beyond amazing.Lifesparknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-8725107808302564482010-05-30T19:39:05.173-07:002010-05-30T19:39:05.173-07:00Wow! I've even gone to the effort of adding plants, seeds and carrots into the desert environment and they still come visiting my norns. I've currently got 3 norns who seem to have decided to take up permanent residence in the jungle. And all the ettins seem to want to live in the norn terrarium.

Would be very interesting to see the results of natural breeding possibilities. And if nothing else it eliminates the problem of those grenorn half-breeds being restricted to breeding with the one species.Archhttp://www.arch-dragon.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-61961242219833952122010-05-16T16:55:55.626-07:002010-05-16T16:55:55.626-07:00The room is part of Battlestance, another one of t...The room is part of Battlestance, another one of those wild projects I started and never finished. Even though it's nothing more than a barren room with lifts, it was still my first attempt at a metaroom, so I still have some attachment to it and tend to use it as a blank test room on occasion :)Amaikokonuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141369908773050411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-86157013023309058982010-05-16T15:55:28.433-07:002010-05-16T15:55:28.433-07:00I'm curious, what's the room they're i...I'm curious, what's the room they're in?Moehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17530254957566844248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-40481216259619369042010-05-16T11:39:12.211-07:002010-05-16T11:39:12.211-07:00@Jessica -- Glad that you approve! Granted I don't know that anything about a huge green reptile managing to produce offspring with a furry mouse-like creature is natural, but... it's still closer than splicing :)

@ylukyun -- that's a good point; I don't usually take the time to raise spliced creatures but I can see how they might have problems deciding what they are supposed to mate with-- with this, they can have their pick.

I'm fairly sure all the pregnancies in the video resulted from other creatures in the world that were also affected by the mating script when I triggered it. But that is something I should still double check; thanks for bringing it up.Amaikokonuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141369908773050411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-33865056543800234902010-05-15T07:50:54.109-07:002010-05-15T07:50:54.109-07:00Excellent! Especially as splices often want to mate with the wrong species.

I am guessing in the scene with the succesive pregnancies, the script did not check to see if the creature was already pregnant?ylukyunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08550762079459465149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-26273944066189592542010-05-15T05:38:31.924-07:002010-05-15T05:38:31.924-07:00Wow, this is an excellent idea! I always thought that since Norns and Grendels are almost identical genetically, it would be interesting to see what their offspring would look like. Using the splicer seems so artificial, too, especially when situations like the ones you mention take place involving Norns joining the other species. I would be very interested in following this project, since it's something quite different and unique. Good luck putting it together!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14445563524165115302noreply@blogger.com
