Alternately, some data about an 'average' score could also help as a basis for comparison - an IQ test, if you will.Malkinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-12995623929799802412012-03-20T15:16:14.262-07:002012-03-20T15:16:14.262-07:00Do you mean like the average score for a generic c...Do you mean like the average score for a generic creature's life to use as a basis for comparison, or like a secondary lifetime score for each creature in the world?Amaikokonuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141369908773050411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-45361998843194196352012-03-19T19:43:46.306-07:002012-03-19T19:43:46.306-07:00Would it be possible to get an average score for a...Would it be possible to get an average score for a norn, taken at sample points throughout its life? (every half hour, for example) An average score would give an idea about the consistency of norn self-care, as well.Malkinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-9787120062112613092012-03-18T18:50:02.706-07:002012-03-18T18:50:02.706-07:00I'm tossing around the idea of an "favor&...I'm tossing around the idea of an "favor" function that would allow you to add a persistent modifier to keep a favorite creature's score lower without any effort on their part. Like perhaps could set it at maximum to keep that creature's score zero, or, if you just wanted to give a little favor, you could set it at 5 or 10, and that creature would receive a relative reduction to their score. That way you have both the options of making the choice yourself, and/or just nudging it in a favored direction while not ruling the others out entirely.<br /><br />But all this is turning into a bigger project than I need to take on right now, hah!Amaikokonuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141369908773050411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-63893003368455187142012-03-18T17:55:20.689-07:002012-03-18T17:55:20.689-07:00Oooo... the panel does sound interesting, especial...Oooo... the panel does sound interesting, especially if it would let you choose which creatures to inseminate, for those times when you want a bit more control over the next generation.Meanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-1723278446178170352012-03-18T14:22:26.655-07:002012-03-18T14:22:26.655-07:00It makes sense to have the score associated with e...It makes sense to have the score associated with each creature: The nice thing about a panel, or something like it, would be a central location for all of the scores. It's nothing absolutely necessary, of course! I can just see its use in a larger world where creatures are spread around. I look forward to seeing it in action with the Creature Nametags, though!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14445563524165115302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417548940646195012.post-40975447114023785132012-03-18T12:23:40.702-07:002012-03-18T12:23:40.702-07:00Right now the script is set up to report the score...Right now the script is set up to report the score in the creature nametags' secondary tag, the one below the name. I'm a bit biased in her favor, although the others are quite loveable, too!<br /><br />How does the script report the scores? Is there an indicator above/below a creature, or is it in more of a panel format? Maybe I'll just wait to see: I can imagine many uses for this!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14445563524165115302noreply@blogger.com
